Unlike other plans of Marrakech, this one includes not only the main streets of the medina, but also the smallest, including more than 400 derbs (small streets / alleys). Different colors show areas of traditional or modern architecture, public or private gardens, street markets, etc. Symbols indicate many hotels / guest houses, cafes, restaurants, banks, points Taxis, or carriages, public telephones, or Internet cafes, hospitals, etc ... The route of the small internal bus of the medina is clearly indicated with all stops. The shopping streets with souks and markets are colorful, specifying what kind of merchandise is sold, the doors of the closed souks at night are also reported.

The ramparts, the Koutoubia mosque, the Kasbah, the Saadian tombs The ruins of the Badi Palace, the Menara Water Plan and its pavilion, are as many examples of the many monuments that reflect the value of the medina on a global level. The authenticity of the urban structures of the Medina and its monument has been preserved intact.
The map includes an index of streets and derbs (small alleys), as well as hotels and guest houses. The GPS coordinates of the tourist points as well as all the doors of the medina are present.

On the back cover of the map we find a mini-plan of the medina with the position of the points to visit, and on Another mini-plan the position of all doors and neighborhoods. The legends and the text are in French and English.
