Most of the tours take place mainly in the Aubrac region. In these vast pastures, herds of Aubrac cows add their touch of tawny color to this ocean of greenery. The villages reveal heavy buildings constructed of granite stone, as do the churches, often Romanesque, topped with a comb-shaped bell tower.
