This map, with its 1:25,000 scale (1 cm = 250 m), is ideal for hiking and other outdoor activities (mountain biking, horse riding, etc.).
The maps show national trails, recreational trails, picnic areas, places with scenic spots and selected monuments. These very detailed maps show all administrative boundaries, the road network in general, unfenced roads, country roads and field boundaries (hedges and brick walls), small isolated farms, so that routes through campaign become much easier. Steep slopes, monuments, high voltage power lines, archaeological sites, mills, churches and lighthouses are indicated. Graphic markings indicate natural terrain features such as rocks, scree, mud and different types of vegetation. The maps are fully GPS compatible.
Tourist information includes campsites, Park & Ride locations, leisure and sports centres, museums, historical monuments, English heritage sites, national monuments and buildings, rural pubs, etc. ..
The map legend is in English only, with the exception of the tourist information content which is also in French and German. All of these cards can be supplied in a soft laminated version.
