The recto covers Oman with an inset from the city of Muscat. The map also includes a map of the city of Salalah, in the far west of the country. The road network of the country is well developed, with several passages towards the water. Unfortunately, none is available for Saudi Arabia, and the passage to Yemen, although opening, is not advisable, because of the fighting ongoing.
Oman also has two enclaves surrounded by the United Arab Emirates A small north of Fujairah, and another at the northern tip of the peninsula, separating the Gulf of Oman from the Persian Gulf (or Arabic).
