The Langtang, Gosaikund, and Helambu regions of Nepal, north and northeast of Kathmandu, on a double-sided map from Nepa Maps, showing the region on one side at a scale of 1:125,000, with the Tamang Heritage Trail shown in greater detail at a scale of 1:25,000 on the reverse. The main 1:125,000 map coverage extends from the capital to the Tibetan border and east to the Kodari border post. The map shows numerous trekking routes from Kathmandu, Trisuli, Melamchi, and Chautara northward toward Langtang National Park, as well as routes along the Lantang Valley and to the summit of Naya Kanga. Contour lines are spaced 80 meters apart. Margin ticks indicate latitude and longitude at 5' intervals. The index lists places, peaks, passes, and lakes. On the back, the region from Syaphru to Timure (Setang) and the Rasawagadhi ti Tibet traverse are presented at a scale of 1:25,000 to show the Tamang Heritage Trail in more detail. Additional information inside the map cover includes a profile of the main Tamang Heritage Trail and its stage-by-stage distances and timings.

NOTE: The same area is also covered by the publishers' map NL504, but without the Tamang Trail enlargement.

The titles in this Nepa Maps series have cartography based on the topographical survey of the country, with contour lines generally at 40 or 50 m intervals, enhanced with raised shading, colors, and graphics to show various terrain features, including glaciers, forested or cultivated areas, etc. Many peaks, with additional elevation points, as well as the names of glaciers and mountain ranges, are clearly visible. The network of rivers, streams, and lakes is illustrated in great detail, and many smaller streams and lakes are named. The overprint highlights the main trekking routes and many local trails, with symbols indicating various places of interest and tourist facilities. Most maps are indexed and include additional information such as route profiles, glossaries, etc. All information is in English, and heights are given in meters.
