From Argelès-Gazost to Barèges via Cauterets, the Azun valley and Luz-Saint-Sauveur, this territory is full of nuggets. Here, the Great Occitanie Sites rub shoulders with those listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
This mini-collection of walking and hiking guides devoted to the Gavarnie Valleys begins with 4 titles: Val d'Azun and Vallée d'Argelès-Gazost – Hautacam (publication 2022) and Cauterets and Itinerances in the Vallées de Gavarnie (publication in 2023) .
- The “official” Vallées de Gavarnie guides are produced in partnership with the Community of Pyrenees Vallées des Gaves municipalities.

The Community of communes Pyrénées Vallées des Gaves in particular manages and maintains the hiking trails partially on its territory (val d'Azun, valley of Argelès-Gazost, Cauterets) and develops communication tools for its hikes.
