Aimed at both the people of Brussels and its visitors, this book aims to guide them along routes that are ideal for walking and hiking, to discover "green" places, often unexpected, in the 19 municipalities that make up the Brussels-Capital Region, while also granting itself the right to happily cross its administrative boundaries.
In order to facilitate access for everyone – Brussels residents or others – each of these hikes starts and ends at a place easily accessible by public transport (train station, metro station or fast trams). The distances vary from 10 kilometres to more than 20 and several possibilities are frequently offered to shorten or lengthen the walk. The density of public transport also makes it easy to opt for other divisions, even during the hike.
