The original Beartooth Sedona Trails map was published in 1998. The mountain biking scene was pretty minimal back then—old jeep roads were pretty much the only option for riding. Today, thanks to the development of numerous trails, Sedona consistently ranks among the top ten mountain biking destinations in North America, so it was necessary to create a supplemental map of Sedona that was more bike-friendly. To better showcase the dense network of trails around town, this map is larger in scale than our original Sedona map. It includes descriptions of 14 local mountain bike trails. This map was previously titled Sedona Core Trails.
At least two new trails are built each year around Sedona. For this reason, this map is updated approximately once a year.
