Alpenverein - Topographic maps of the Austrian Alps

The Austrian publisher Alpenverein" offers a series of topographic maps of the Austrian Alps. The superior quality of the cartography and the detailed scale (1/25,000 or 1/50,000) of the maps make them very practical for mountaineers. The trails hiking trails, mountain paths, lodges and refuges are indicated. A specific series mentions ski slopes on the same cartographic basis. The legend is in German.
